A wedding in every state!

Okay, I know you are all waiting for me to take the time to make a new kit, and I am so sorry that I haven't done it yet. I have another project I am working on for church, and then once my kids start school in just over a week, I will have some free time on my hands!

But I am writing because my good friend Trevor Dayley is wanting to accomplish an awesome task (I have taken a photography workshop from him, and I think he is the best photographer out there). His goal is in 2 years' time, he wants to photograph a wedding in all of the 50 states. So, that's why I am posting it on my blog, because I know that I have been blessed to have followers all over the country (as well as outside of the U.S.)...I love you all!

So, if you know of anyone getting married within the next couple of years, please consider using Trevor. You can click here to read more about it and check out his site:

Playhouse Raffle for a Double Lung Transplant

My friend Jen from high school is married to a man named Josh who has Cystic Fibrosis and is in need of a double lung transplant. They have the cutest little twin daughters too! For those who live in Arizona, the playhouse that is pictured below was built entirely with donations, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the lung transplant account. They are asking for us to "please get the word out to help raise money for Josh's double lung transplant."

You can buy tickets online at www.joshandjenwills.com. From THEIR website (not mine), click donations - add "playhouse" on Paypal comments and your ticket #'s will be emailed to you. The winning number will be drawn on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Streets of New York (542 W. Baseline Rd. Mesa, Arizona).

Call Heidi at (480) 279-4530 or Penny at (480) 789-0502 for more information.

Playhouse dimensions 10' 7" x 8' 9" (includes a 2 ft. porch)
And for those who do not live in the Arizona area, please feel free to donate anyways.

*Remember, do not donate through my website. Click here to go through Josh and Jen's site.

And sorry that I haven't made a kit recently. Life has been busy having all the kids home during the summertime. Hopefully I will have more free time coming up soon!
